Villa Curcuma
Villa Curcuma is a small horticultural company from Honselersdijk. Owners André and Mike Zuidgeest specialize in growing curcuma cut flowers, making them the only growers in the Netherlands to do so. André Zuidgeest: "We strive to cultivate high quality and long shelf life for consumers. In addition, we grow almost entirely biologically".
Tropical Climatization
A tropical climate is imitated in the greenhouse of Villa Curcuma, as the curcuma originates from Thailand. An important detail is that the slender, exotic flower has to be transported 'warm' (+15°C). Villa Curcuma cuts the flowers in lengths of 55 cm to 75 cm.
The full range of seven varieties is available from week 1 to week 40 with the compliments of Decorum.
