About Arcadia Chrysanten
Arcadia Chrysanten is a member of Decorum. Like all other members, this grower is carefully selected with one aim: to grow flowers of the highest quality under the brand name of Decorum. Arcadia is specialized in the cultivation and marketing of disbudded chrysanthemums. 50 Million branches of high quality are produced each year. The range has particularly expanded with disbudded chrysanthemums, with new species, and adapted to the season. We are constantly looking for innovative shapes and colors. This search is conducted in collaboration with plant breeding companies. This has already resulted in winning the Glazen Tulp (Glass Tulip) Award in the cut flower category for two consecutive years. This prize is awarded annually to the most beautiful new cut flower of the year by FloraHolland. Arcadia boasts five cultivation sites with a total area of 20 hectares. In the Westland, there are three branches in De Lier and one in Kwintsheul. The fifth branch is in De Kwakel, just below Aalsmeer. As a result, our locations are close to Royal FloraHolland's two largest distribution centers. The delivery of orders to customers is therefore achievable in a short time. Arcadia delivers products to all the branches of the FloraHolland Auction. Besides Aalsmeer and Naaldwijk, these are Rijnsburg, Venlo, Eelde, and the florist clock at FloraHolland Naaldwijk. The chrysanthemums also go to the Plantion Flower Auction in Ede and the Rhein Maas Auction in Straelen (Germany). We regularly visit our customers to find out what their wishes and needs are. Through a good relationship, we can work in a customer-focused way and unburden the customer. Arcadia produces chrysanthemums that are market and customer-oriented. For Marketing & Sales, we focus on deliveries abroad. The flowers go to countries in both Eastern and Western Europe. We do as much Marketing & Sales as possible abroad in cooperation with importers and exporters. Arcadia is socially responsible. Sustainability is our top priority. We regularly do tests such as energy-efficient cultivation. As a result, we are the leaders in The New Cultivation (Het Nieuwe Telen) in which we seek to optimize both the technique and the cultivation.
